Built for Every Body.
Programmed for You.

Most fitness apps assume we're all built the same. Strength OS is designed to accommodate different bodies, different abilities, and different forms of strength. Log your training with modifications, track custom exercises, and connect with coaches who understand adaptive sports.

Our Story

One of our founders lives with ectrodactyly.

Finding the right coach, the right programming, and the right tools wasn't just hard — it was nearly impossible. Every training app assumed a standard body. Every program assumed full range of motion, ten fingers, two hands that grip the same way.

We looked for an app that understood adaptive athletes. There wasn't one.

So we built it.

Strength OS was founded on the belief that strength sports belong to everyone. Our co-founders decided early on that this platform wouldn't be another generic fitness app that ignores disabled athletes. We wanted to break the mould — to build something that asks you about your body and builds around you, not the other way around.

The Problem

Most training apps assume every athlete has the same body.

They don't ask about limb differences, mobility restrictions, prosthetic use, or chronic conditions. They don't account for the fact that a bench press setup looks different when you have one hand, or that a squat program needs adjusting when you have limited ankle mobility from a below-knee amputation.

You end up:

  • - Modifying every program yourself
  • - Explaining your needs to coaches who don't have the right tools
  • - Skipping exercises because the app doesn't understand your body
  • - Feeling like an afterthought in a platform built for someone else

That ends here.

What Strength OS Gives
Adaptive Athletes

Tell Us About Your Body

During onboarding, you can share details about your disability, mobility limitations, prosthetic use, and any conditions that affect your training. This isn't a checkbox — it's a conversation that shapes your entire experience.

Personalised Exercise Recommendations

Based on your profile, Strength OS suggests exercise variations and modifications that work for your body. Grip alternatives, unilateral movements, seated variations, band-assisted options — the library adapts to you.

Adaptive-Aware Programming

Coaches using Strength OS can see your mobility profile and program accordingly. No more guessing. No more sending a standard template and hoping it works. Your coach knows what you need before they write your first session.

Equipment Considerations

Tell us what equipment you have access to — including adaptive equipment like straps, hooks, prosthetic attachments, or specialised benches. Programming takes your setup into account.

Track What Matters to You

Your PRs are your PRs. Track progression on the lifts and variations that matter for your body and your goals. Strength OS doesn't force you into a standard mould — it celebrates your progress on your terms.

Find the Right Coach

Connect with coaches who understand adaptive training. Strength OS helps coaches see your full profile so they can program with confidence and empathy.

"For the first time, a training app actually asked me about my body instead of assuming I'm the same as everyone else. That alone made me want to use it."

FAQ for Adaptive Athletes

Q1. Do I have to share my disability information?
No, it's not mandatory. You only share what you're comfortable with. However, providing details about your mobility and requirements allows the app and your coach to provide more personalized recommendations and exercise modifications.
Q2. What kinds of disabilities does Strength OS support?
We support a wide range of physical disabilities, including limb differences, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, visual impairments, and chronic health conditions that affect physical movement. Our exercise library is built to be inclusive of all bodies.
Q3. Can my coach see my disability profile?
Yes, if you choose to connect with a coach on the platform, they will be given access to your mobility profile so they can program your training sessions with confidence, knowing exactly what variations and equipment you need.
Q4. Are there adaptive exercises in the exercise library?
Absolutely. We have a growing database of adaptive-specific exercises, from seated variations and unilateral movements to specialized grip alternatives and equipment-specific modifications.
Q5. Is Strength OS accessible for screen reader users?
Accessibility is a core pillar for us. We are committed to WCAG standards and continuously test our app to ensure that visually impaired athletes can navigate their training logs and programming independently using screen readers.
Q6. I'm a coach who wants to work with adaptive athletes. Where do I start?
Coaches can sign up for a Strength OS Coach account. Once in, you'll have access to our adaptive programming tools and the ability to connect with athletes who are specifically looking for coaches who understand their unique needs.
